Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:

I led a presentation about the human brain for an audience of second graders. Although I had some Powerpoint slides to serve as visual aids, the style of my presentation was very interactive. I spent much of the time answering an endless barrage of questions from the students. I was fortunate to have a real human brain to show the kids, and they got to wear gloves and touch it and hold it. They also spent time completing the workbook activities generously provided by the Dana Foundation.
