Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
The objective of our presentation was to teach kids about the brain, including senses, proprioception, vestibular, cranial nerves, myotomes, dermatomes, and concussions. We had activities related to each that were interactive for the students to help engage them in the learning process. We believe we achieved out goal, as the kids seemed to enjoy themselves and were engaged.

How do you feel BAW participation benefited your organization and the local community?
It allows us to volunteer and be a part of the surrounding community, sharing our knowledge with the younger generations. Some immediate outcomes include increased knowledge about the brain.
