Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:

The audience were informed of what Brain Awareness Week is all about and the benefits of being a partner of such a wonderful foundation. The theme was titled YOUR BRAIN, YOUR LIFE, YOUR FUTURE. Lecture was given on brain, its parts and functions, drug abuse and its overwhelming deleterious effect and hampering effect on ones future. Also a lecture on career in neuroscience research ,Neurotoxicology, Neuropharmacology and Brain v computer were also given . The brain was also exhibited . Students were allowed to have a touch of the brain with their hand gloves. . Also interesting fliers titled Laughter and the brain, Nutrition and the brain, The Brain vs the computer,Yawning and why yawning are contagious, The he brain and the She brain, The blood brain barrier(keep out), Chocolate and the brain downloaded from DANA website were distributed to student too.The brain cake was also designed to colour the event.The whole exercise was quite educative to the target audience
