We had an excellent lecture from our staff Neuropsychologist on behavioral changes that may occur with brain injury/brain disease. We provided educational materials to our staff about brain function, problem-solving and adaptation. Well received by staff and will be expanded next year.

How do you feel BAW participation benefited your organization and the local community?
There is so much “hidden” when it comes to behavioral changes in individuals with brain injury/brain disease. As a Medical Rehabilitation Hospital we are always striving to gain better understanding of how we can best serve those in our care and provide education to them and their caregivers. These activities present us with a relaxed and fun way to keep this information fresh.
