Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
Our goal was to engage middle school students in an after school program with brain-related activities. We did this by exploring neuroanatomy, taste perception, and attention. Undergraduate student volunteers were trained in the different activities and then facilitated the stations while the middle-schoolers rotated through the stations.
