Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:
The Brain Week 2018 in Southern University Center (CUSur) of University of Guadalajara in Guzman City was conducted on 20 to 23 of March. The inauguration event was performed in CUSur, with students of medicine, veterinary medicine, nutrition, teachers and a representative of authorities. The opening ceremony of the exhibition along with information booths, Brain Gym and Memory in this activity students participated from the Nutrition, Medicine, Veterinary and Master of Science feeding behavior programs. In addition to the conferences performed there was a competition and exposure in modality of posters and models. After the exhibition, the organizing committee rewarded three models. The activities in CUSur, Guzman City Jalisco, there was an Expo-Brain with posters and models, games of mental skill modules and information on the brain There were exposed conferences in CUSUR audiences and middle and high schools of Guzman city. On this occasion, the activities were supported by the international Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives and COETCYJAL, the support of Division of Regional Development of CUSur of University of Guadalajara. In addition, there were presented movies in the art house of CUSur, University of Guadalajara. Was had the participation of teachers and researchers as speakers, as graduate students and volunteers from different races in CUSUR (Degree in Nutrition , Medicine, Literature) which participated in the various work in support.
